Both The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom are often slandered for their supposed lack of enemy variety and diversity and while I definitely don't disagree with those statements, I'm also curious... to what extent are the two open world games truly outliers compared to the rest of the Zelda series? That's exactly what I wanna find out, by taking an in-depth look at the two Nintendo Switch games, but also other Zelda games and comparing their enemy numbers to solve once and for all whether the enemy variety truly is below par or whether there is another issue at play here.
