The Korean Institute of Criminology holds its annual Korean Institute of Criminology International Forum (KICIF) in regards to current trends in crime and criminal justice to develop comprehensive and effective crime prevention policies. To that ends, the forum invites experts in the field of crime and criminal justice, from home and abroad, to share best practices and seek effective crime prevention measures.

This year, the forum aims to discuss issues related to cybercrime including an overview of cybercrime, cybersecurity, cyber economic crime and cybersex crime with experts and scholars from the US and the EU to examine cooperative measures among law enforcement agencies for prevention and response to cybercrime amid an expected increase in online activities during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 7th Korean Institute of Criminology International Forum will serve as a platform for introducing effective criminal justice policies and ways to enhance international cooperation for crime prevention.
