Hi folks, we've been really looking forward to sharing this one with you. It's our acoustic cover of 'Don't Think Twice, It's All Right' by Bob Dylan. The arrangement is very much inspired by our musical heroes Indigo Girls, after they performed it alongside Brandi Carlile many moons ago. Unfortunately we don't have any friends to take the third harmony, so as usual it's just us 🤣

To our shame, we've never really paid a huge amount of attention to Bob Dylan's work, but when we knew we were going to work on this song, we started listening to a lot more of him. It's clear to us why he's so highly regarded among songwriters: the use of language and phrasing in his poetry is incredible, and and the grounded, down to earth themes and settings he explores make his stuff as relateable today as it was back in the 60s. An outstanding craftsman.

Don't tell anyone this, but we assumed this song would be the one on the album that was kind of throwaway, being so simple and repetitive, but it's turned out to be our absolute favourite of the bunch, and it's become a constant fixture in our live shows over the last few weeks. People flipping love it, and we're annoyed that we didn't get to it sooner.

In other news... at 11.45 GMT today we had to say goodbye to our beloved maine coon cat Nala after a brief but heartbreaking battle with acute liver failure. Some of you might have seen her in the odd video looking dumb, or perhaps a photo or two on our instagram feed of her refusing to look where we needed wanted her to. She was the most loving and kind hearted friend we've ever known, and there's a big old hole in our hearts today and forevernore. Speed thee, Nala, to Valhalla. Reunited with Milo... and take that random piece of foam with you. You were the best of us. 💔
