Despite Beirut’s diversity and urbanization, many of its communities lack equal and equitable opportunities. In an effort to counter this, MARCH created a cultural hotspot to help alleviate these disparities and to provide vulnerable youth with practical tools that offer them a chance at a better future.

More than a space, Hona Beirut is a cultural hotpot that brings people together and aims to provide educational, practical and capacity-building support to youth from different backgrounds. Hona has plenty of social clubs for the youth from sports, culture, photography, debate teams and more..

Located in Tayyouneh at the intersection of different neighborhoods, Hona Beirut is one of the city’s few green public hangout spots, with the additional value of being a multifunctional educational safe space.

Moreover, it regularly hosts a variety of cultural events designed to bring the youth from different communities closer together and provide a pedestal for self-expression. Open Mic nights always witness a full house and bring about laughter and joy to both participants and attendees.
