Sri Ramakrishna Vidyashala (SRKVS) - Man making education



Sri Ramakrishna Vidyashala – a residential composite pre-university college for boys – is run by Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mysuru, a branch of the Ramakrishna Math, Belur, Howrah, West Bengal. The object of this institution is to translate the all-encompassing concept of education envisioned by Swami Vivekananda. The institution established in 1953.


For over a century the Ramakrishna Math and Mission have put Swami Vivekananda's visionary ideas on education into practice. Today these twin organizations run over 600 educational institutions across India.

In 1953, under the leadership of Srimat Swami Shambhavanandaji Maharaj, the vision of Swami Vivekananda took shape in the form of Sri Ramakrishna Vidyashala. Today Sri Ramakrishna Vidyashala is a 69-acre green oasis in the heart of Mysuru city.

Sri Ramakrishna Vidyashala offers State syllabus education for standard 8th,9th and 10th. Karnataka State PUC Board Syllabus for 1st and 2nd PUC.
