David Oyetokunbo Oyelowo is a British-American actor, director and producer. His accolades include a Critics' Choice Award and two NAACP Image Awards as well as nominations for three Golden Globe Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, a Screen Actors Guild Award, and a BAFTA Award.

Devotion Storyline
1950. Ensign Jesse Brown and Lt(jg) Tom Hudner join Navy Fighter Squadron VF-32 at roughly the same time and Brown is assigned as Hudner's wingman. They are quickly the best of friends and always look out for each other. Later that year war breaks out in Korea and VF-32, onboard the carrier USS Leyte, provides air support. Their missions are vital to the war effort and extremely dangerous.
