Where small businesses can get help with federal contracting

Forget the myth about federal grants to start, or expand, a small business. They don’t exist. If you’re already a small business owner, federal contracting is the way to go.

The federal government purchases billions of dollars of goods and services every year. Chances are Uncle Sam is buying whatever you're selling. Getting started with federal contracting is a pain in the neck BUT there are federally-funded resources out there to help you and it won't cost you anything except time.

Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTACs) help small businesses get registered with the federal government and they explain how to find and bid on contract opportunities.
