The BBL match between Melbourne Stars and Perth Scorchers on Thursday has been postponed due to a Covid-19 case within the Stars' camp. The positive result came from a member of the support staff on Thursday afternoon just hours before the game was due to take place.
The Thursday (December 30) night Big Bash League fixture between Melbourne Stars - Perth Scorchers at the Marvel Stadium has been postponed after a member of the Stars' support staff returned a positive result on a Covid test.
All players and staff who have been in contact with the patient have subsequently undergone PCR tests, results of which are not expected before the scheduled start of the game and therefore forcing the postponement of the fixture.
