The Wizard of New Zealand, also named Ian Brackenbury Channell is a magician, educator, comedian, politician, living work of art and a funny and wise guy. He is the Government-Appointed and Official Wizard of New Zealand and has been protecting the Kiwis since 1974 when he first arrived in Christchurch. He began speaking in Cathedral Square dressed as a full wizard, and the rest is history. He hatched from a giant egg, hovered over a rugby match, and helped the home team win and had many more adventures I talked about in this video.
Will this wizard make New Zealand be in the center of the Universe and stop missing on world maps? Probably not, but still, the wizard is an interesting character, so check the video if you want to know who this guy is and how he became a wizard.
