How we prepare for winter in our VW campervan

We love our VW campervan and love getting out and using it ALL year round. Winter in a campervan is very different to in the summer, but no less rewarding. Join us as we take you through how we prepare our van for our first winter camp of the season. With a few small tweaks to our preparations winter camping can become so cozy and comfortable.

We are Richard and Jackie and we live in the UK. We retired from teaching at the age of 51 in the summer of 2022. Our plans for early requirement include relocating to the Yorkshire Dales, developing our forever home and travelling the UK, Europe and eventually the world in our VW campervan Nelson.
