This is the band's first show in the UK whilst promoting The Unforgettable Fire album. Musically, the performance offered here is a fine one from start to finish, with Bono and the band in great form, delivering a strong show despite a few potential technical issues. For instance, Wire beginning with just The Edge's guitar before eventually Larry and Adam enter later on, and New Year's Day featuring a unique ending.

However, the same cannot be said for the audience. As apparently the atmosphere at this show was quite a hostile one. As a result, Bono frequently tried to defuse and de-escalate the situation by talking to the audience between songs, but to little avail. These problems with the audience eventually led to Pride being stopped as soon as it began so Bono could once more attempt to pacify the crowd, eventually leading to the song being restarted soon after. Perhaps this is the reason also why Bono incorporates more ad-libs and improvisations on songs such as Two Hearts Beat as One and Seconds.

Despite the challenging audience, the show overall features some fantastic renditions of Two Hearts, Bad, Indian Summer Sky, and New Year's Day, alongside a very unique rendition of Seconds. It also features the only recorded instance of Indian Summer Sky with a snippet, as well as the only appearance of Elvis Presley and America in snippet form during Bad. The entire show was captured on a good-sounding audience recording. All in all this is a great show to do if you want to listen to a 1984 European leg show if you don't mind the tense atmosphere present at times due to the hostile audience problems.
