Week 16 Day 4 — SVT in 60 Seconds

Narrow, regular, fast tachycardia Spot SVT, know first checks, vagal coaching, adenosine pathway, unstable cardioversion, and trigger cleanup.

What you will learn fast
• Look regular narrow complex often 150–220; P waves may be hidden
• Symptoms palpitations, dizziness, shortness of breath, chest discomfort
• First checks monitor, vitals, IV access, 12-lead
• Vagal maneuvers if stable per protocol
• Medication path adenosine may be ordered in monitored settings
• If unstable hypotension, altered, chest pain synchronized cardioversion path
• After conversion reassess and look for triggers stimulants, dehydration
• Memory cue SVT equals Super Very Tight QRS narrow and fast
