Hi guys, first I wish you all a fantastic NEW YEAR! Hope to see you many times this year for a Fishy Friday.

Today I take you to my favorite town: Cadaqués. A beautiful small fishermen village in the north of Catalonia where I meet my good friend Rafel Martin Faixo. Together with his family he owns a fantastic restaurant (Can Rafa) and the cozy local wine bar where they serve you their own fantastic wines of Mas Perafita (www.saperafita.com). Often, Rafel goes out fishing for his own restaurant supply. Today I join him for a December Sea Urchin catch in the village bay. Opening sea urchins looks quite difficult, but it really isn't. I love them raw, but feel free to have them in your omelette, soup or simply with a few drops of lemon.
