At the age of 8 one of our sibling Border-collies went blind basically overnight.
Her name is LittleB and we were devastated by this event.
LittleB's retinas flatlined and she went totally blind as a result.
Here in this video it proves beyond doubt that some dogs, not all do accept this dreadful condition as LittleB plays and actually entices her sibling brother to play.
Back and forth they go with LittleB's brother Cbull wearing bells on his collar as LittleB's ears have now become her eyes.
Smell, touch, hearing are all a part of her life now and while we have struggled to accept her condition, LittleB has and is still coping extremely well..
Diagnosed march 2017 with SARDS by Ophthalmologist Specialist..
Not all is lost and even though LittleB tires quickly, life for her is still full on.
Cheers and enjoy a totally blind dog at play..
