Morning Walk in Botanical Garden, Rana Pratap Marg, Hazratganj, Lucknow

One of India’s most known and earliest botanical gardens is that of the National Botanical Research Institute. This 25-hectare garden is located at 113 meters in the core of Lucknow, the capital city of Uttar Pradesh, on the southern side of the Gomti River.
History of Lucknow Botanical Garden
The ancient “Sikander Bagh,” which was designed as a royal garden by the “nawabs” (Kings) of Lucknow in the year 1800, is what is currently known as the Lucknow Botanical Garden. The garden covers is home to a wide array of diverse plants and acts as the city’s lungs. Aside from being helpful to researchers, students, instructors, nursery workers, and garden admirers from India and abroad, the garden functions as a national institution for conserving India’s flora.
