Chemo Buddies 4life is a nonprofit committed to see that those affected by cancer do not have to face it alone. The idea may sound simple but only within the last few years has the medical community found proof that to be alone may actually affect a patient's results.
Martha Newsom and Tamara Hunter met each other in the Chemo Room at Breastlink in Orange County, California. Since their meeting three years ago, they have been attending all of their treatments and doctor visits together.
Given the name, "Double Trouble" from their medical team, they have brought an unique way to handling one of life's scariest challenges. They have created a movement that is taking off with no end in sight.
