Daisy 880 O-Ring Repair, Fix, Oil - Oil Type, Pump fix

Описание к видео Daisy 880 O-Ring Repair, Fix, Oil - Oil Type, Pump fix

These oil instructions bring full power back to 880 after hibernation, whether 10 months or 10 years. Many a novice buy parts, that are not needed, from 3rd party rip-off crews - parts that are heavily marked up. Think 3000%. Daisy reps do not sell parts on eBay, Amazon, or foreign sites!

The pump tube rings can be store bought. Danco is spot on with OEM 113 SAE. Danco system - #11

If you feel you learned enough here on oil, try my new full screen video on changing all 3 Main Seals.    • Daisy 880 Fix. 3 Main Seals Replaced.

Daisy Corp has started YouTube videos in the right direction. Hannah, a great Daisy parts rep, has small "help" videos. I recommend "Hannah-4" about basic mistakes that ruin 880. When she says "gun oil", Hannah of course means you use Pellgun AIRgun oil or 30w engine oil.

My second video covers remaining 3 seals to be replaced and trigger disassembly. My latest full screen version even better.   • Daisy 880 Fix. Trigger Disassembly.

Parts do eventually break down. Please avoid 3rd parties. Remember to go to Daisy for moving parts. Danco O-rings can be found at store for 3 out of 4 seals fixes. And they are same Nitrile material.

Use the oil discussed in video once per month if shooting heavily.

(1) If your 880 has not been shot in a month or more, and the foam wiper looks dry, lube the wiper. When I have not done this, my point of impact (POI) dropped as much as an inch at 15 yards.
(2) Some oil on the O-Ring on your bolt rod (your breach loader) is fine too. Q-tip good there.

Ok, for those interested on where I get my education and info, I learned much from a thirty-year pro gunshop owner. He encouraged me to get on here to fill the void of good fix-it videos. He wants to make it clear, shouting it to the heavens: WE ALL CAN BE 880 EXPERTS! Daisy is superior in its simplicity, and every 880 user should be well versed in gun maintainance.

Also, I don't feel it is right for any third party - some are very bad - to charge $10 to $30 for the current seal kit - which is 4 seals. At this time, Daisy gets you a seal kit for $1. All O-Rings can be store-bought Danco rings which are only $3 for box of ten.
