Walther PPK/S Shoot and Review! Does the James Bond PPK/S Suck? Is the Walther PPK/s Worth Owning?

We took the Classic Walther PPK/s 380 out for a test drive. James Bond can't be wrong, right? The Walther PPK/s is a classic iconic design in a stainless steel finish. Tee Walther PPK/s, despite being around since the 30's was made famous by James Bond in the classic movie series.

We put a few rounds of 380 through the PPK/S after laying it down to take a peek. This PPK/s is a newer Fort Smith Walther build. This hand sized Walter has a safety and decocker and can make a fantastic carry gun, despite the added weight.

The PPKs was a gun born during the 1968 gun control act with some minor changes over the old PP and PPK to remain compliant.

We run the PPK/s to see what we think. We do some missing and some hitting and realized that with our cheap-o ammo it was a little moody. Short barreled guns are sometimes unpredictable and a little erratic, but once we calmed down a little it did pretty well. Once we used a much better Hornady 380 90 grain critical defense, it tightened up and became a better shooter. We only had one misfeed that seemed like a magazine thing. At the end of the day the Walther PPK/s was a pretty good shooter.

With the classic design, the good shooting, and nice carry size, the Walther PPK/s is a great collector piece or carry gun.
