In this video, we bring you the latest Pakistan weather update starting from 21 January. A powerful western weather system is set to enter Pakistan, bringing heavy rainfall, snowfall in northern areas, and a severe cold wave across many regions over the next 72 hours.



According to the current weather forecast, a strong rain-bearing system will enter Pakistan from Wednesday, 21 January, and remain active until 23 January. This system is expected to affect Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Kashmir.

🌧️ Heavy Rainfall Expected Widespread rain is likely in South Punjab, Central Punjab, Upper Punjab, and most parts of Sindh, including major cities. Thunderstorms and gusty winds may also accompany the rain in several areas.

❄️ Snowfall in Northern Areas Moderate to heavy snowfall is expected in Murree, Galiyat, Chitral, Swat, Dir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and other northern mountainous regions. Due to snowfall, road closures and travel difficulties may occur.

🥶 Cold Wave Alert After the passage of this weather system, a sharp drop in temperatures is expected, intensifying the cold wave across the country, especially in northern and upper regions.
