In the most stunning turn of events, we discovered that I was wrong about the cause of the fire. It was NOT caused by my own negligence, it was NOT caused by a wrench or tool, it was actually caused by internal failure (after a year of normal operation) of an Intellitec Bi-directional Intelligent Relay Delay (BIRD) device that heated from within and burnt everything in its immediate area, due to no fault of my own. Sometimes I'm too quick to blame myself and thought it must have been a tool and could not have been a product sold by a big company (Intellitec), but the evidence is clear in this video and the device failed internally and was the source. It had worked perfectly fine for about a year, but the fire happened on the hottest day of summer so far this year, when the inside of the car read 110 degrees Fahrenheit.
