Celebrity Edge - Oceanview Cafe

The Oceanview Cafe is the buffet-style restaurant on the Celebrity Edge....but it's far beyond a buffet. It is an International Marketplace with a menu influenced by multiple cultures so the cuisine takes diners on a voyage around the world. Stations available in the marketplace include made-to-order pasta, stir-fry, pizza, sushi, a full salad bar, and a variety of appetizer entrées and desserts.


We've cruised on many ships and eaten at many onboard buffet restaurants. But during our recent cruise on the Edge we were especially curious to see what protocols had been put in place to enable buffet dining to be a safer, healthier experience. We were very pleased. There was a large handwashing station at each entrance that was overseen by a crew member who reminded everyone to use it. There were servers at each of the stations who handed us our plates, utensils and served our food. So it really was. touchless experience.


The food quality and presentation were phenomenal.The food was delicious and there was a plethora of selections....from freshly made pizza to Salmon Wellington, and the menu changed daily.


The Celebrity Edge offers many excellent restaurant choices and we tried them all. But for a casual, relaxed dining experience with unparalleled views of the ocean, our favorite is the Oceanview Cafe.
