Fusion power, the holy grail of energy production, has been making significant strides in recent years. *Inertial electrostatic confinement*: A device that uses electrostatic fields to confine and accelerate the plasma.

While significant technical challenges remain, the progress made in fusion research has been remarkable. If successful, fusion power could provide a nearly limitless, clean, and sustainable source of energy.
