Hey everyone! Welcome back to the channel.

In this video, I decided to make one of the classic robots : the Self-Balancing Robot. But... I didn't want it to be a boring project , so I gave it a battle axe, some angry eyebrows, and a whole lot of attitude.

The goal was to build a robot that can balance itself perfectly on two wheels using a PID loop. It’s actually harder than it looks! The code constantly reads the angle of the robot and adjusts the motors instantly so it doesn't fall over. I also added WiFi control so I can drive it around (and chase people😉) using an app on my phone.

It was a super fun build, and honestly, the "angry" look makes it way more entertaining to watch.

🛠️ The Parts I Used: If you want to build one yourself, here is the hardware that went into this little guy:

Controller: ESP32 (Handles the WiFi and the balancing code)

Motors: 2x NEMA 17 Stepper Motors (These provide the torque needed to balance)

Drivers: DRV8825 Stepper Motor Drivers

Sensors: MPU6050 (This tells the robot if it's tilting forward or backward)

Power: 3x 18650 Batteries with a Boost Converter (to keep the voltage stable)

Extras: A servo motor (for the axe!) and a custom 3D printed chassis.
