Best New Oculus Quest Games (Spring 2020) | Lies Beneath, The Room VR & More

Reviews of the best new VR games for Oculus Quest, to keep you going through Spring 2020 (and self isolation). My favourite virtual reality titles that you can download now include The Room VR: A Dark Matter, Lies Beneath and Ghost Giant. A mix of puzzle games, horror and casual super-cuteness that will suit all ages.

The Room A Dark Matter is probably the greatest Oculus Quest launch of all time, not just 2020. It's certainly the best game I've reviewed, recreating the complex, challenging experience of the mobile titles, with a thrilling and immersive new style. Being able to lean in and closely examine each object from every angle makes A Dark Matter even more immersive than previous efforts, while you once again have a selection of supernatural lenses that transform your surroundings with eerie results.

If horror is more your thing, definitely download Lies Beneath for the Quest. This creepy new action/survival adventure has you evading or taking on nightmarish creatures in a snowy wood, from a first person viewpoint. It's gorgeously presented and gripping throughout.

Gamers of all ages can get on board with Ghost Giant as well, a title that's been ported to the Oculus Quest from PSVR. It's a casual puzzle VR title that is engaging and powerfully cute, definitely what we need as we slog our way through 2020!

Some great games have also been updated with fresh DLC for April/May. This includes Box VR, whose all-new Essentials Pack has just been released, now has an extra hour of workouts to help you keep fit. Pistol Whip now has a bonus Full Throttle level too, which is the most insane yet.
