SPAYING / #OVARIOHYSTERECTOMY
#Abstract
Female Cats (spay) have an incision made just below the umblicus into the linea alba (Cuadal Midline laprotomy). The reproductive tract, both ovaries, and the uterus are completely removed through this incision. Then the incision is closed with two layers of sutures under the skin that will dissolve and be absorbed by body over time.

Cats are Seasonally Polyestrous and a long-Day Breeder. Queens (female cats) undergo estrous cycles repeatedly during a breeding season unless interrupted by pregnancy, pseudopregnancy, or illness. Estrous cycles will occur at variable intervals but most typically every 14 to 21 days (Averg. 17 days)
Cats will have their heat cycle (also known as estrous cycle), when a female reaches puberty, or sexual maturity. This occurs in cats at roughly 6 months of age, but it can happen even earlier than that depending on the time of year. Each heat cycle generally lasts seven days on average.
This is common surgery in Adult female cats because they comes in heat repeatedly after shorter period of span

How we do we #Stop the cat in #Heat
