The Eid al-Adha celebrations in Kano on Friday witnessed the usual devotion as thousands gathered at the Kofarmata Eid ground to mark the sacred festival.

Although the traditional horse-riding Durbar had earlier been suspended, a vibrant and peaceful procession still took place, reflecting the cultural essence of the occasion.
