TLT ETF is the Treasury bond fund ETF and it will be going down from this point because of economic indicators. In this video, I break down the latest economic indicators such as the CPI data point, then go into TBT ETF, the inverse Treasury Bond fund ETF, as well as SPY ETF, the SPX ETF. The economy is slowing and I show how all of this plays into the stock market, especially SPY ETF. The bond market will shift and because of that TLT ETF is going to go down as investors that left the stock market - SPY ETF - for bonds are moving back in. From there, TLT ETF is going to move down. Because of that, I have a position on TLT ETF for the following few days.
With all of the uncertainty in the economy coming out of Washington, especially with Trump, there is volatility and selling within the stock market with SPY ETF. Because of that, the VIX has shot upward significantly. But, I expect the VIX to move back downward. I have a long position on SVOL ETF. If SPY ETF moves sideways, or starts to move back upward, SVOL ETF will shoot up higher very rapidly.
With this, TBT ETF is also going higher as TLT ETF moves downward.
