What do you accept as truth? It seem like a simple questions, but when you start talking to people you realize we don’t all share the same answer. From the day we are born to the day we die, every life decision will in some way be influenced by how we choose to answer this question. In fact, much of the conflict we see around us is because not everyone defines “truth” in the same way. In this presentation, Dr. Miller explores the different ways people view the world and what they are willing to accept as truth. Based on a modified correspondence theory of truth, the talk opens the door to a larger conversation about what Christians accept as truth and how we can better engage the world in meaningful conversations about the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
