Historian and author Danny Keenan's response to the monument at St Paul's Cathedral to Sir George Grey (1812-1898), by Esward Onslow Ford and Farmer & Brindley, 1901

Dr Danny Keenan is of Māori descent. He is Associate Professor in Māori/New Zealand history at Massey University, New Zealand.

Sir George Grey was a British colonial administrator who was twice Governor of New Zealand and Premier from 1877–1879.
