Body Cam - Sergeant Andy Martin (1/3) - Cal Poly Humboldt Pro-Palestine Protest

On April 22nd, 2024, a small group of students gathered for a pro-Palestine sit-in inside of Siemens Hall, a building containing both classrooms and administrative offices. Police were called and arrived on the scene just before 5pm. Eventually violence broke between the police officers and the protesters. Several protesters were arrested, but police were unable to remove protesters from Siemens Hall. Police left from the quad/Siemens Hall area around 11pm. Then, an occupation of Siemens Hall began, as well as a week-long protest involving hundreds of students, faculty, and community members.
