So let's consider what has changed in the new BioMax panels with blue light:

✅ I've been using the PlatinumLED Therapy Lights BioMax panels for many years. These red light therapy devices have been evolving over the years, constantly gaining new features. These panels have done great in my reviews and comparisons - so I'm excited about the developments. The panels remain the same as we still have the 300, 450, 600, and 900 models. We've seen some amazing innovations from Platinum LED over the years such as multiwave technology, the revolutionary touchscreen control panel and wireless connectivity
✅ Only two blue LEDs have been added to the new BioMax panels. So, essentially, blue light therapy has been added to the mix - at the 480 nm range. Who knows what other colors we see in the future, such as green, yellow, orange, and others. I'm just surprised that PlatinumLED is the first to come out with this technology. The blue light mainly has benefits for skin health, such as countering acne and skin wounds. Only 1-2% of the power output goes to the 480nm range though. You can deactivate the blue light if you were not to use it though
✅ But, other innovations exist as well. Mark, the founder of PlatinumLED allowed me to download all their information - this information might not be on their website even, at the moment of publication of this video
✅ The BioMax looks slightly different from the previous units as well. Any panel you order now should be the new third-generation red light therapy panel
✅ Another new innovation is the "silent mode".
✅ The new panels also have no WiFi component and only receive Bluetooth, but don't send out a signal
✅ Then, there's a remote control offered with each new BioMax and a premium remote control that you can buy for an additional $99 USD. The basic remote has two buttons and the premium one has a great LCD touchscreen. The new remote is handy if the control panel is hard to reach or if you're using a horizontal stand, for instance
✅ Then, the new PlatinumLED app is a remote control that works like the premium touchscreen remote, which is extremely neat. You can adjust the light intensity, for instance, enable and disable blue light, and so forth
✅ The design has been updated a bit such as a new logo on the top and the branding on the side, different vents, and so forth. The same is true for the unboxing process, there are slight new changes here. There's also no pulley system but a chain
✅ Stands have remained the same though, although some new stands for the smaller panels are available
