Welcome back to another Bali vlog! This was one of my absolute favourite days in Bali prior to our wedding... We took our parents to Sundays Beach Club in Uluwatu, which we were hesitant about doing due to what we'd heard about the steps!

Let's just say, we were very happy that the lift was working (as I've seen other people write on TikTok that sometimes it's been having maintenance done and they've had to walk the entire route!) - honestly, our parents wouldn't have made it up or down without this so do take this into consideration when booking!

The steps were actually a challenge for them regardless as you have steps before reaching the lift and then just after. If you're young, fit and have health on your side you will not have any issues whatsoever. If it were just me and my partner we would've walked the whole way for some movement and to soak it all up.

Our parents are in their 50's and 60's and have had some health battles over the last few years so that's the only thing to be wary of... With that being said, they all did such a fantastic job and we just took our time. There are points where you can stop and have a break along the way and parts that are relatively flat. Some of the steps are steep and uneven and there's no hand rail, but I wouldn't let it put you off.

The view on the way down is truly breathtaking, and when you reach the bottom it's just as beautiful. Sundays is the most picturesque beach club that I've ever been to, that's for sure.

The facilities are top tier, everything is incredibly clean and well looked after, the beach was gorgeous with white powdery sand (unlike the black sand found elsewhere in Bali) and had the bluest, clearest water I've seen on the island too.

The current is strong, so make sure to check before getting in... No lie, we were swimming and staying in the exact same spot!

In the afternoon they did water activities like snorkelling, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding, and once evening sets in they bring out the fires and marshmallows - so cool!

As mentioned in the video we booked the King Beds in the Adults Only (18+) section - and we're so glad we did! It had its own bar, toilet and shower facilities close by, we were waited on hand and foot with the most incredible staff and had easy access to the beach. The beds were super comfy and the VIP amenities boxes came with all the bits and bobs we needed for a comfortable visit.

The food was a huge highlight for us - as you'll see there's SO much of it left around my mouth and in my teeth during this video LOL, I apologise! But it just goes to show how much we were eating (we had the credits, so why not!) and no word of a lie the kebabs still live in my head rent free to this day. I would go back for the kebabs alone...

We travelled all the way from Canggu and would do it again in a heartbeat. Worth the money, worth the time in the car and worth the hype. It was all such a treat!
