Speaking up for yourself can be a challenge if you're the kind of individual who consistently tries to give and do more than you recieve.

Empathetic people are more prone to be givers and providers and this upsets their relationships with others because everyone gets used to the empath putting their needs last.

There could be many reasons for this behaviour and one of the primary difficulties being this way is that you consistently end up unfulfilled.

Sooner or later that discontent and frustration results in disorders in their life. This could be as simple as being passive agressive and sarcastic to as advanced as developing a personality disorder/phobias/addictions/anti social behaviour.

Why is that?

That's because people who are unable to speak out for themselves live inauthentic lives. You can't really hope to be happy living a life like that. To be successful and truly happy.. truly.. fulfilled..
you need to learn to stand up for and speak up for yourself!
