This is the full DIY guide for the installation of the CTS Turbo cold air intake for the BMW F32 435i, and no doubt many other similar models.

This model also will fit:
BMW 3 Series
- 2012+ F30 335i/iX Sedan
- 2012+ F31 335i/iX Touring
- 2013+ F34 335i/iX Gran Turismo

BMW 4 Series
- 2014+ F32 435i/iX
- 2014+ F33 435i/iX Convertible
- 2014+ F36 435i/iX Gran Coupe

An improved intake is a very easy way to bring better performance and even sound to your car. With a few simple tools and about 30min total, you can easily do this project yourself. The CTS Turbo intake is a solid design, easy to install and absolutely makes a significant difference the moment you start your car.

What is also important to note, is CTS put a considerable amount of time and design into the MAF housing itself. The housing is hexagonal aluminium, instead of a round metal or plastic tube. There can be concerns with the airflow sensor if it isnt getting the type of flow it expects, and CTS has worked specifically to not only address that, but improve on it.

For me, right after installation I noticed a significant difference to engine sounds with this open intake design, over the closed OEM intake. I am really excited to hear and feel the improvements to my car in the next coming months!

I strongly recommend this improvement for your car!
