Within our discussion we initially reviewed the Schwab Trading Activity Index (STAX) and explained how it works. We then made several comparisons between the STAX and the S&P 500 Index. This included the Hindenburg Omen, McClellan Oscillator, Seasonality, several momentum and market breadth indicators.
