After serving the nation for decades and shifting through countless cities and accommodations, defence personnel retire and search for a first home to call their own. A true Homecoming.

This Republic Day, we take a journey through the eyes of our defence forces - an intimate look into defence life, the homes they've lived in, the unique cantonment experience, and the personal touches they've added to make their forever home truly theirs.

In the first episode of Homecoming, we meet Captain Alok Bansal, who served in the Indian Navy for 32 years! He was a commander of two warships and is currently Director of India Foundation. After retirement he settled in Jal Vayu Vihar, Greater Noida.

Homecoming is a three-part series featuring decorated veterans from the Indian Navy, Indian Air Force, and the Indian Army.
