In celebration of Transgender Day of Visibility we are going over the iconic Stonewall Uprising and discussing a few key figures in the movement, Marsha P. Johnson and Sylvia Rivera. This true story shines light on trans issues in 1960’s-70’s era, as well as issues we are still facing today.
