Robert Taylor (1911-1969) was an American actor who starred in a variety of films during Hollywood's Golden Age. He was known for his handsome looks and commanding presence on screen, and he became a popular leading man in both dramatic and romantic roles. Some of his most notable films include "Camille" (1936), "Waterloo Bridge" (1940), and "Quo Vadis" (1951). Taylor was also a favorite of director MGM, where he spent the majority of his career, and he was often paired with some of the studio's most famous leading ladies, such as Joan Crawford and Lana Turner. In addition to his successful film career, Taylor also made appearances on television in the 1950s and 1960s.
