Bani Sant Tulsi Saahib Ji

Dil ka hujra saafkar jaana ke aane ke liye,
dhyan gairon ka utha uske bithane ke liye.
(Cleanse the chamber of your heart, so that the Beloved may enter.
Detach with the world, so that He can be seated there.)

Chashme-dil se dekh yahan jo jo tamashe ho rahe,
dilsita.n kya kya hai tere dil sitaane ke liye.
(See with the heart's eye the spectacle of this world,
Oh heart - ravishing scenes appear there to entice you.)

Ek dil lakho tamanna uspai aur zada havas,
fir thikana hai kahan, uske tikane ke liye.
(One heart with many desires & always the lust for more,
where is the place for the Lord to come & reside?)

Nakli mandir masjido mein jaye sad afsos hai,
kudrati masjid ka saakin dukh uthane ke liye.
(Going into physical temples & mosques, it's a pity!
The indweller of the natural mosque is made to suffer.)

Kudrati-kaabe ki tu mahraab mein sun gaur se,
aa rahi dhur se sada tere bulane ke liye.
(Listen attentively in your head, the true Kaaba.
The Sound is coming from true home, calling you.)

Kyon bhatakta fir raha tu aye talashe-yaar mein,
raasta shah rag mein hai dilvar pai jaane ke liye.
(Why are you wandering around in search of the Beloved?
The way to meet your Beloved is through the Shah Rag)

Murshide-kaamil se mil sidak aur saboori se Taki,
jo tujhe dega faham shah rag ke paane ke liye.
(O devotee, meet the Perfect Master with sincerity and patience.
He will give you the secret to find the Shah Rag.)

Goshe batin ho kushada jo kare kuch din amal,
La-illah-Allahu Akbar pai jaane ke liye.
(Practice for a few days, the inner way will revealed.
It is the path to reach Allah, the One God, the Greatest.)

Yeh sada Tulsi ki hai aamil amal kar dhyan de,
Kun Kura.n mein hai likha Allahu-Akbar ke liye.
(This is the call of Tulsi: Do the practice with concentration.
As ‘Kun’ is described in the Quran, to take you to Allah.)
