Kaico Playstation2 HDMI Part2 Review

review of Kaico HDMI adaptor for the Sony Playstation 2. The HDMI converter by Kaico was designed so you could use your PlayStation 2 on a Modern TV with a simple ‘plug and play’ solution.

No settings was change when doing this comparison video, with AV, RGB scart and HDMI it was all set in game mode.

As you can see it a big step up in picture quality with Kaico cable, I was so impressed, vibrant colours, that really pop out on the screen.

What does this device do, it takes the absolute best available signal from the PS2 (which was RGB/component) and then converting it to HDMI signal, and outputs 240p/480p. Additional support is offered through the RGB/YPBPR switch, ensuring no matter the set up, a display can be seen. A common yet troublesome problem on every other PS2 HDMI adapter.

Must add this HDMI Adaptor is purely for PS2 consoles it will not work with PS1.

The cable does need additional power and this is supplied via a Micro USB port and included USB charging cable.

Compatible with European, Japanese and North American Region PlayStation 2's.
