In late August 1944 the French 2nd Armoured Division captured central Paris, but not without several stiff fights with the remaining German garrison. In this film, we examine the famous duel between a German Panther tank, an M10 tank destroyer and a charging Sherman on the Champs Elysee between the Arc de Triomphe and the Place de la Concorde in one of the most exciting armoured actions of the war.
