The Music Center's Spotlight Grand Finale features an evening of unforgettable performances by our 14 Spotlight Grand Prize Finalists at The Music Center's Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. Join us to celebrate the culmination of a multi-faceted year-long journey by these incredibly talented high school artists who are part of the Spotlight program.

ABOUT BROOKE BAILEY
Brooke Bailey, 18, is a senior at John Burroughs High School where she sings in the national award-winning choir Powerhouse, directed by Brendan Jennings. She is also president of the Neo Chromatics acapella group. Brooke studies voice with Joyce Warman. Roles include: Witch in Into the Woods and Joanne in RENT. Awards include: Best Soloist at Burbank Blast, Hart Encore and Eastern Show Choir competitions (2023); and a Jimmy Award nomination for Into the Woods (2022). Brooke is excited to announce her next music venture, Honey. This vocal trio will debut their original R&B and Neo Soul sound later this year. She would like to thank her parents, teachers, and mentors Brendan Jennings, Jennifer Oundjian and Tony Redman, for their support and encouragement. This is Brooke’s first year participating in Spotlight.

ABOUT SPOTLIGHT
Much more than a competition, Spotlight provides performing arts scholarships and artistic development to empower high school students by emphasizing preparation, courage, critical thinking and perseverance while providing an invaluable opportunity for students to hone their skills! Southern California High School students of ALL skill levels are encouraged to apply for FREE. $100,000 in cash scholarships are awarded each year to students along with personalized feedback, eligibility for mastery classes with world-renowned artists and more! Categories include Acting, Ballet, Classical Instrumental, Classical Voice, Dance, Contemporary Instrumental Music and Non-Classical Voice.
