Vortex was one of the first Metal bands in the Netherlands. After a short-lived existence in'79 the band regrouped in '81, and started playing NWOBHM-ish music. According to the ancient scrolls the band frequently shared the stage with other bands like Picture and Sad Iron, before kicking the bucket at the end of the eighties.
