Star Citizen | Squadron Battle with

I had the pleasure of getting into a Squadron battle against some of the AVS guys this weekend and it was an interesting battle.

It was interesting to see how ‪@Avenger__One‬ and ‪@Coldsealion‬ paired up in their buccaneers, acting as each others wingman and at various points tagging each other in and out.

It was an effective tactic, whenever I would engage one and get their shields down, they would use the Buccs interceptor tuning to quickly disengage and then the wingman would swoop in and engage, it often ended up as a 2v1 game of tag, very insightful to be on the receiving end and see how effective it can be.

I can imagine good comms is needed for this and a high degree of awareness of where your team mates are at any given time.

I can see a few times throughout the battle I neglect engagement range and am wasting shots at distance I couldn't hit and I'm not fighting in pitch, these are bad habits from playing the old FM.

I felt like a warmed up towards to later part of the match.
