My Heart Belongs to Jesus

My heart beats, the Lord weeps for me,
a child he made with His own hands
He knew me before I could know Him
He is the only one who understands
He gave me all of my features
molded me in the way I should go
they try to tell us we are just a creature
But the creatures don't know what I know

My Life, My Mind, My Heart belongs to Jesus
My strength, my passion, my love
Its only by His Kindness, I am worthy
To one day see the Father, above

We grow, we change, we cannot escape age
But through it all, He always stays the same
His love for us will always be there
Our Father just wants us to call His Name
