Hunter 2 has recently released and Filmfare received an opportunity to sit for an exclusive tete-a-tete with the cast. The cast, comprising Suniel Shetty, Jackie Shroff and Anusha Dandekar, spill details about the series’ second instalment, new cast members and the camaraderie between Jackie and Suniel. Not only that, Jackie, Suniel and Anusha also shared more about the action-packed sequences and how they came into being.

Jackie Shroff opened up about joining the cast. He also shared more about Tiger Shroff coming to the trailer launch to support the project. Opening up further, Jackie shared taking up a negative role in the series but also told us that the character has depth and value. The storyline was kept under the wraps when the interview happened but the cast members opened up on action and drama, being at an all-time high.

Anusha Dandekar has also performed action sequences in the series. When asked about the same, she noted how the sequences were at par with those of her male co-stars. Anusha shared about the hard work behind performing action and looking good while doing so. She also opened up about witnessing the camaraderie between Jackie and Suniel on sets. She said, “They’re really cute together.” The cast members laughed, made jokes and kept the conversation alive and going.

Suniel Shetty, the actor who was also in Hunter, opened up about how the new season of the series is different from its predecessor. Suniel spilled details about the emotional value of the series, noting that it is higher than Hunter. He shared that while people would be speaking about action, the crux of the series lies in the emotions. He also noted that filming Hunter 2 was more difficult than filming Hunter, for the series has grown in terms of story and emotional value.

Lastly, Suniel notes that he would love to work in a comedy script with Jackie Shroff as well.
