TARANNUM CHOIR PATRIOTIC CONCERT
Tarannum Indian Music Choir is a 3 year old choir, having given 8 concerts- at India Habitat Centre, India International Centre, CSOI, and other venues around Delhi. The Ae Watan concert was performed by the Choir at Sriram Centre on the 10th & 11th August 2018 as well at the Civil Services Officers Institute at Vinay Marg, New Delhi on the 12th August 2018 as a part of Independence Day celebrations. It featured several well-known patriotic songs from films that are rich in inspiration and melody. Some of the songs were - Mera rang de basanti chola and Ae Watan, Ae Watan (Shaheed, 1965), Apni azaadi ko hum (Leader), Ye desh hai veer jawanon ka (Naya Daur), Ae watan watan mere abaad rahe tu (Raazi), Vande mataram (Anandmath), Ae mere watan ke logon, Awaz do hum ek hain, Kandhon se milte hain kandhe (Lakshya), Maula mere le le meri jaan (Chak de India), and many others.
