Here’s the blotter update…

As the scent gets closer to its drydown, there’s no doubt that the focus is increasingly on the leather: it doesn’t display the same, intriguing balance between the opposing poles that we saw in Malle Rose & Cuir. However, in itself, this isn’t a criticism. What we have here is a fairly rough-edged, old-school leather, brightened at the top with a dark rose note. An interesting piece of work, but perhaps a touch too mono-dimensional to be memorable.
