For these smoked and crispy fried chicken wings, we started the wings off on the Weber kettle grill. Then, we transferred them to the fryer and fried them to get that extra crispy outside! If you’re looking for a new way to make chicken wings for your tailgate or football party, then try these out!

Start out by adding a mustard binder to the wings. Then, season with your favorite seasoning. We used our Shake That All Purpose seasoning for the buffalo style and the naked chicken wings. And we used our barbecue seasoning for the barbecue wings - available to purchase soon! Then, smoke the wings at about 250 degrees F for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Next, fry the chicken wings in your favorite frying oil. It will only take about 3-5 minutes to fry the chicken wings, because they’re already fully cooked from the smoker… you’re just looking for a nice golden brown color and crispy exterior. Let the crispy fried wings drain a bit, and then toss them with your favorite sauce. We used Jack Daniel’s Sweet and Spicy Barbecue Sauce for the ones that we seasoned in barbecue seasoning before smoking, and we used Texas Pete Extra Mild Buffalo Sauce for the ones that we seasoned with Shake That.
