A short two miles into downtown, you'll find the News-Journal Center, Daytona State's performing arts venue and home of the Mike Curb College of Music, Entertainment and Art.

The News-Journal Center is a two-theater venue that features the most cutting-edge technology available and is home to some of the areas finest theatrical productions, including top-quality musical and stage performances by our own students.

Situated on the banks of the Halifax River, the News-Journal Center's interior pulsates with the creativity of students and faculty alike. In fact, we have grammy award winning faculty working with students every day!
